Saturday Afternoons - Craft Time!

Taking a small 6" x 6" x 1" book and gluing all the pages together - then cutting a rectangle on the top page so I could insert an antique brass frame with an old photo...once the inside was completed, it sat in my studio for days. The ideas just weren't coming. It usually takes a graphic paper that gets me started and that's what happened this afternoon. Then a ripped piece of music, a French page from an old book and I was ready to do the cover. When I found a card that my friend Sheila sent me, I knew "this was it!" The roses and the Eiffel Tower became my focal point. Then a little ink from several ink pads; some calico checks. The inside is very simple.

Daisy Bell was born.
