Yum Yum Two dozen scones just came out of the oven!

Wanted to make some scones. Made the first batch and I couldn't get the dough to run around the cuisinart to form a ball. Had to add a little more milk and it still wouldn't form a ball. So I had to knead it by hand. Disaster! 

Went ahead and tried another batch. This time I over compensated and the dough was runny. Geez! 

However, after both batches were baked...they tasted remarkably the same. Undercooked the first batch, over cooked the second to get them brown. 

I haven't made this recipe in several months -- why? Because I was eating all of them. But I was really wanting a scone this morning!
